Continue to Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred shrines. In the evening, drive to Thimphu, the country’s capital, for overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Point) to begin the day with a Sorig yoga session overlooking the 169-foot Buddha Dordenma statue. This practice uses breathing and meditation techniques to relax and cleanse the nervous system. In the afternoon, drive to the base of Cheri Monastery for a peaceful mindfulness meditation session by the riverside.

It is believed that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress to meditate and subdue negative forces, and the monastery was later built in 1692 in his honor.
